World's Most Expensive Home for Sale on the Peak

7 August 2014 - After withdrawing two houses put on tender last month due to bids not meeting target prices, Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016) yesterday released the price list of the 12 houses at 'Twelve Peaks' at 12 Mount Kellett Road on the Peak, with an average asking price of HK$127,000 per sq. ft. (net).
 
House 1 sized at 4,661 sq. ft. (net) with an exceptionally large private garden, is the most  expensive of the 12 three-storey houses that make up the development. According to the price list, the house is asking for HK$819 million, equivalent to HK$175,735 per sq. ft.. In terms of saleable area, this marks the world's most expensive house based on asking price.
  
The 12 houses at “Twelve Peaks” are sized between 3,657 and 4,661 saleable sq. ft., each with their own garden, swimming pool and lift. The project is expected to be completed by early next quarter. The developer is offering a maximum discount of 14.75% for potential buyers.
