12 November 2014 - Beverly L W Sunn, Board Chairman of OKAY.com and Founder & President of Asia Pacific Properties will deliver the Opening Keynote address at the 11th Annual Women of Influence Conference & Awards to be held at the Four Seasons Hong Kong on 14 November 2014. The theme of this year’s event is “Evolution”, with the session set to focus on how our world is changing alongside women’s careers. Topics to be touched upon include seed funding/angel investing, nurturing change in family oriented Hong Kong, as well as non-linear career journeys taken by presenters and panelists that include Jennifer Cheung, Founder of Sift Desserts and Maura Thompson, Co-founder & Managing Director of Sassy Media Group.

Other key speakers include Lale Kesebi, Chief Communications Officer & Head of Strategic Engagement at Li & Fung Ltd.

An active member of the Hong Kong business community, Beverly recognized an opportunity to share and highlight the achievements of extraordinary women in Hong Kong. After initiating a collaboration between the International Women’s Forum and the American Chamber of Commerce, Beverly founded the inaugural “Women of Influence” conference in 2003.

“I am thrilled to see that the conference has gone from strength to strength and is now in its 11th year!” Beverly says.

The committee promotes professional women’s leadership and aims to help close the gender gap in the workplace within Hong Kong and the Greater China region. By encouraging dialogue and providing educational opportunities between members, the forum strives to develop leadership, provide mentoring support and champion diversity across participating organizations.
